Munchy is a YouTube channel of recipes for healthy food for cats. They have decided to change the name from Munchkin as a part of rebranding.

Our first thoughts were to make a timeless and bold logotype with a unique emblem. For this reason, we created an emblem of a cat’s happy facial expression with a tongue out to represent the cat’s waiting to enjoy its meal. The typography of the logo we chose is a modern serif with soft corners.

For the color palette, we came up with a collection of soft warm colors and some soft cold mint and grey colors. Considering the light colored palette, we decided to include dark blue, which can be easily combined with the rest of the colors from the palette and adds a trustworthy and professional feel.
